In 1990, he graduated from the Television Department of Beijing Broadcasting Institute (now Beijing Open University);
From 1993 to 1995, he was the editor of CCTV “Oriental Horizon” program;
From 1996 to 1998, he was the editor of the Life program of CCTV Economic Channel
In 1998, he founded the first CCTV quiz show “Lucky 52” which had the highest standing audience ratings among CCTV variety shows.
In 2000, he founded the program“Happy Dictionary”,which once again led the wave of Chinese puzzle programs.
From 2003 to 2005, he was the founder of the first CCTV reality show brand "Happy Hero" which had become an important content brand on Golden Week schedule, the most important season in CCTV broadcast layout; later he successively launched a number of multi-themed and multi-typed seasonal reality shows such as the "Magic Training Camp", "Car Training Camp" and "Intern", which was recognized by the industry as "a new wave of Chinese television".
While working in CCTV, he participated in planning and creating various large-scale thematic evening parties such as "3.15", "Warm Days in Spring", "Teacher's Day Party" and so on.
From2010 to 2015, he was the producer for columns like "Behind our Remarkable Skills” on CCTV-1 Channel and the founder of programs like "The Teen’s Talent".
By the end of 2015, he left CCTV and became the General Manager of Beijing BestSee Co., Ltd.
